Lligwy Beach Cafe next to the unspoilt and beautiful, sandy Lligwy Beach. Great selection of hot and cold food, Pizzas, Wraps, Pasties, Sandwiches, Cakes and Ice cream. Beach Bar with lovely view over the beach.
A huge beach with both sand and rough rocks in different areas, this is a great family location for a few hours. There is a place serving food, including a cafe, bar, and a pizza and ice cream stand (excellent ice cream), and also public loos. It is entirely dog friendly but bring poo bags and please take them back to the car park for disposal. The beach has dunes with dips from streams so there are shallow pools that are great for children. Sadly, we found a collection of 3 bags just left on a rock with children in the area playing, not nice. I would hope this is rare. We took our dogs with us. They loved it. We took their poo with us when we left.
Lovely sandy beach with car park, cafe and toilets. The car park is very near to the beach so not far to walk. The cafe is really popular and does coffees, sandwiches, pizzas and ice creams. The car park was full by lunch time in a sunny August weekday.
What a beautiful beach! Lovely, quiet cove, sandy beach, pebbles in places, shallow clear water ideal for young children to paddle. We loved this place. And added bonus...parking!! Toilets and the best...4 huts. One is a little cafe selling coffee, bacon butties and such, one a open fire pizza hut...highly recommended, a bar and an ice cream hut!! PERFECT place with no added fuss of extra shops, arcades and in general 'things'. Would definitely go again. We visited with 3 primary aged kids (including asd) and a moan-ager, all enjoyed.
Normally these places are over priced for low to average quality. Not here, the tiffin was really nice and about Starbucks level pricing. The coffee and hot chocolate also nice and probably cheaper compared to a Starbucks. Only gripe is no toilet. There is a public one at the end of the car park. There was no running water in the tap in the men's. Can't knock the cafe for that but I'd bring some hand sanitizer and baby wipes in case.
Beautiful sandy beach. Car park was full on the first Bank Holiday Monday after a month of rain. Reasonable fee and a second car park further along too. Toilets and a cafe at main carpark. Tide was out when we arrived and the sea was about 200m away leaving lots of room for games and playing in pools. It's a very flat beach so nice for paddling, swimming and kayaks/paddleboards etc. Sea comes in very quickly when the tide turns though. A lovely visit and a regular favourite on our rota of top beaches.
Great beach. PS2 parking. Dogs allowed at times. Great cafe, pizza hut and food van.
