This 19th-century mausoleum is the final resting place of the Lochbuie family, situated on a picturesque hill overlooking the surrounding countryside. The impressive structure features a mix of Gothic and Classical architectural styles, with a striking stone façade, pointed arches, and a prominent spire. The mausoleum's tranquil setting, surrounded by mature trees and rolling hills, adds to its sense of history and solemnity.
Wee trek to see it you have to open the door your self an have look around sunny day pref as the roof will shine
Very atmospheric well worth the walk ,look up at the roof from inside and you will see coloured stars.
A 3 1/2 mile easy return walk from the car park. Great views and well worth doing.
Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!
