This 36-acre park features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is also home to a children's play area, a skate park, and several sports facilities, including tennis courts and a bowling green. Visitors can explore the park's natural beauty, including its woodland and wildlife, or attend one of the many events and festivals held here throughout the year.
Visited here recently with my little girl and was pleasantly surprised. We were originally going to visit the other side where the ducks were, but as soon as we saw there was a picnic area and a playground, we changed our minds. There were plenty of picnic tables inside the park and outside of the park which was nice and we noticed a huge railway track that goes around the park - upon further investigation they have a little train every so often for little one's to ride on which I think is brilliant. Will definitely return when the train is running.
A clean, quiet park. Plenty of open spaces, a children's playground and a miniature railway. Easier to park in Carlton Road car park, free parking
Our 3 year old loved rhe splash park . They also have other relaxjng things to do
A lovely park with plenty of on site parking at both ends. A playground for the kids as well as a fitness area which quite a lot of equipment. A train which runs every so often and plenty of green space.
Very nice and family park with children train
Living next to this is an absolute nightmare. It really affects people's mental health. Everything they do here is really loud and noisy. They always using machines or morning the lawns or just that train where you hear all the noise. Today I was working from home and honestly I had to stop a meeting and rearrange it for another day because of how much noise they make. I'm attaching a video for you to hear. My whole house vibrates because of the noise and you can hear it from inside really loudly. It's killing you feel anxious all the time in your own home!
