We are a community club which runs the miniature railway in Lodge Farm Park. We are all volunteers and try to run trains on two Sundays a month in the Summer. 2023 we are running the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month through to October.
The guys running it are doing a great service, they love it and it shows. Rides are PS2 per over 2 year old but worth it if it keeps these guys together. Make sure you get your dates/ times right.
A great place to visit with children/grandchildren. A train ride is only PS2pp, very reasonable for a train ride through the park. Plenty of trains running, so a short wait time. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and polite. Park at the Carlton Road car park, quite a lot of parking spaces, handy for the train and park and free parking. Recommended
I went on this for the first time with my hubby and toddler and it was SO much fun! I felt like a kid again, beautiful experience. The volunteers running it are also super friendly.
We've been enjoying trips on the miniature railway for over 5 years. Club members are fantastic - friendly and kind and genuinely love to see the kids (and parents) having fun. Christmas special service is really special but the club makes it fun all year round! Thank you for being a wonderful addition to our local park.

Our son loves the mini trains . He got to go on an actual train a few times and got hooked on trains . Ever since, we take him to ride the miniature one and he loves it
