A serene and picturesque lake nestled in the heart of the Peak District National Park, surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, offering tranquil boat rides, scenic walking trails, and opportunities for fishing and birdwatching.
Been driving past here for the past few years and always mentioned to my daughter, we should go for a walk, so we did. Was a lovely day, nice and sunny day. Lots of people were also walking their dogs, people exercising (different exercisesl points dotted around the park) It took as about 30-45mins to walk around the lake, as we were also taking pictures, bird watching and soaking in the scenery.
Lovely little lake with well maintained paths and fishing spots
I love this lake for walking, jogging, getting fresh air. Dogs also enjoy it.
A very peaceful and relaxing place to visit. A complete circuit of the lake is a little over half a mile with no steep climbs or descents and if you prefer a longer walk there are alternative paths to try. Visitors are friendly.
Very good place for walking any time of the day. Clean and calm. I have seen pair of swan first time in my life.
A lovely walk followed by the best view of the lake sitting and chatting and watching the gorgeous wildlife in all their glory. Well worth going and much better than sitting in a cafe
