Lodge Farm in the United Kingdom is a picturesque destination that boasts a stunning display of sunflowers. The farm is transformed into a vibrant yellow sea during the summer months when the sunflowers are in full bloom. Visitors can wander through the fields, taking in the breathtaking views and capturing memorable photos. The atmosphere is tranquil and serene, with the gentle rustling of the sunflowers' petals in the breeze creating a soothing background noise. As the sun begins to set, the sky is painted with hues of orange and pink, adding to the farm's natural beauty.
Fabulous discovery! Friendly welcoming staff who are delighted to explain how to wander freely through the fantastic sunflowers. Have secateurs to borrow to cut your own stems for a donation of 50p per stem. All proceeds go to the nominated charity. Lovely tasty snacks available but you could take a picnic and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth a visit
So, so, so lovely. We went on the last day of the season, so it was fairly quiet, but still a few people wandering around. 50p per stem, all going to charity. Maybe take your own secateurs at the end of the season or on a busy day, as there weren't many when we were there, and some were broken. Lots of the sunflowers were going over, but I imagine earlier in the season there would be a better pick! It was very easy and relaxed, with picnic tables to sit down at and enjoy the selicious cakes, ice cream, and cold and hot drinks which were available.
A beautiful farm of sunflowers. Even in the pouring rain it was beautiful. Good value stems, with a lovely coffee and cake at the end. Also, raising money for a very worthy cause. Well worth a visit.
Fantastic little spot to PYO. No entry fee, just turn up. Flowers at 50p per stem...bargain. All proceeds to charity. Lovely little van for refreshments and seating area to enjoy them.
Wonderful place. Jilly and Emma are as friendly and welcoming as ever. The handmade cookies and cakes are impeccable. Will be coming here again on Friday. Definitely recommend it:)
