A vast and windswept moorland in North Yorkshire, England, characterized by its rugged beauty, rolling hills, and scenic vistas. The moor is dotted with clusters of trees, rocky outcrops, and sparkling streams, creating a dramatic and ever-changing landscape. On a clear day, the views stretch for miles, taking in the surrounding countryside and the distant North York Moors. The moor is also home to a variety of wildlife, including red grouse, curlew, and golden plover, making it a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
Insects & meadow flowers in season. No footpath through. Just a strip of 'wild' land left to do its own thing between the a30 and the Gwithian Road out of Hayle. At time of 'reviewing' there were photos of a beach attached to this reserve with a comment that it was a nice beach. It is not a beach - it is just rough meadowland in close earshot of the a30 - which in my opinion deserves 5 stars as it is better than any other use for that strip of land! Well done CWT!
A lovely beach
