The gardens at Longstowe Hall are framed by ancient woodland and wildflowers to the East and historic parkland to the West. Lying at the natural hollow in the centre of the landscape are the three lakes. Longstowe Hall's gardens are open to the public on select days during the year. Entrance is by pre-booked tickets only. We look forward to welcoming you here to relax and enjoy this beautiful landscape.
An enjoyable visit. Go if you get the chance, as it's not often open. The long flower borders running down to the lake are exceptional, with three neat levels of tiered planting. Then there's a pleasant walk through the arboretum, with some impressive and healthy-looking trees of all sorts. If you happen to bump into the owner, stop for a chat as he's very enthusiastic and full of information about the history and the upkeep of the gardens.
