House and grounds with guided tours, period furnishings, a chapel, a gift shop and a tea room.
Lovely gardens, the scent in the rose garden is amazing. Very quiet, not many people which is nice, limited opening times so check before you go. August is the last month the garden is open, house is not. Friendly staff and lovely tea room.
Spectacular garden! Several differently themed areas within large walled garden. So much colour and planting to explore and enjoy. Lovely cafe. Card payment only. Sadly closing for autumn/winter tomorrow- seems a shame when garden is very much still in full bloom.
Came for a jazz evening raising money for a bowel cancer charity, GUTS. The walled gardens are stunning, I'll definitely come back for a separate visit. Lovely atmosphere, my favourite bit was the pond planted all around with white flowers.
The gardens are beautiful but the cafe isn't up to much. Really grumpy service and pretty limited food selection - quite overpriced too. Shame, as the setting is lovely.
Lovely place ,you can visit the house ,walk around the parklands and lake, gardens were gorgeous, such variety and colour and scents.Cafe is outdoors and the food was wonderful, homemade and so tasty .To anyone who likes gardens please visit here and enjoy really nice food as well
Very good guided tour of the house by a very knowledgeable guide. Nice cafe in grounds but unfortunately no indoor seating and a lot of the hot food had sold out at 12.30pm. Pretty gardens to explore.
