What a wonderful place to visit. Captures the history of Hoddesdon in one place. Toy exhibition going on now.(summer 24) Indoor and outdoor activities, lovely little cafe and garden area, helpful, friendly and informative staff. Going back every weekend, just to have a lovely cup of tea, beautiful slice of cake at a bargain price in historic surroundings. Highly recommend, Child and disabled friendly. Open Friday and Saturday only, because of wonderful volunteers x

Lowewood is one of those places where you think "I'll just pop in here for 30mins" and stay for 2 hrs, there is also a garden that needs to be explored, but as weather was poor we're saving that for a, warmer day
