This medieval jousting tournament held in the grounds of a 14th-century castle features knights on horseback, clad in armor, charging at each other with lances as they compete for the favor of the ladies in the royal box. The air is filled with the thunder of hooves, the clash of steel, and the roar of the crowd as the knights engage in a series of thrilling battles.
It was an incredible experience. We spent two nights camping, and the evening shows were the highlight--exclusively available to campers, making them feel even more special. The morning festival was delightful and very family-friendly, with plenty of activities and charming shops to explore. The only downside was the evening food options for campers, which were quite disappointing. Even just having a simple burger stand would have made a big difference.
Had a fantastic time with friends. Fairly priced food & drinks. They had a range of mead to choose from, which tasted delicious. The loos were clean 90% of the time (which is more than I have experienced at festivals) With plenty to do and see, there was hardly a chance to get bored. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be coming back next year.
Excellent day out, especially in the . The jousting was really exciting and the kids loved it. There is plenty to do here, a decent food / drink selection and free water. Definitely a good day out
This was our third visit to Loxwood Joust and each year it gets better! Always plenty of information before the event, really well organised and great fun. So much to do when there and loads to see and try. The children love watching the jousting (we all do) and trying out circus skills and knight school in the children's quarter. A great family day out.
An absolutely brilliant event! Wheelchair access is good and the event is perfect for the whole family.
A fun place with lots of different shops and typical English entertainment.
