Attractive area of chalk downland with lovely views along rolling hillsides. More visible urban development and not as many orchids as at some of the nearby downs, but the late spring buttercups were plentiful. Free parking at the George and Dragon parking lot in Temple Ewell. A pleasant place to walk for an hour or so, just a few minutes drive from Dover.

Good for a hillside walk, lots of dog walkers. Can be easily accessed from George and dragon carpark.
