Visited last week - fantastic and surprisingly large! The Wheels of Time challenge was engaging and lasted our whole visit. Sadly we visited an hour before closing time so didn't get to take everything in, but we'll definitely be back! The gift shop was decent, too... And free entry!
A lovely little museum, free entry. Lots of interesting artefacts. Suitable for younger children, too. Exhibition room is ticketed, but worth a visit . Great morning out.
Great place, impressive variety of stuff in it. Easily you can spend half a day there. And is free
Amazing little museum with a vast range of exhibits including military, taxidermy and dinosaur models. A great way to spend 2 or 3 hours, and it's FREE.
Quite simply a fantastic town museum, with well thought out displays, which were clearly described.
Amazing museum when you consider the range of artifacts and the fact it's completely free to enter! Not just the history of Maidstone but wider items of interest. Came here with two young children who do not normally attend museums. They were really fascinated and enjoyed the wide variety of things to see and do. Great job by the staff and curators.
