Returned home to Langholm a place I left in 1971 and made the trek up the Whita hill to the monument with my family. Will always hold this place in my heart. Nothing like the Langholm water straight out of the Whita Well. Next time will have to be back on a horse for the Common Riding for a 50 year anniversary ride.
