This is a free museum like rest of the museums in Manchester. This has a unique collections of prehistoric remains and many other aquatic and land animals. This is again an amazing place to bring kids and show them what existed and also it's not bad for parents either. If you are a young adults, you can visit too. Nothing to lose but everything to gain. There is a shop inside, cafe (the best spiced chai latte I had in the UK). It takes about 4-5 hrs to complete this if you see everything thoroughly.
An absolutely first class attraction close to the heart of Manchester. No, it isn't the Natural History Museum in London but it's not a million miles behind. A great place to pass a few hours with the small dude exploring dinosaurs & froggies, and a myriad of other displays bringing the world around us into focus in easily digestible way. The staff are wonderfully polite and friendly, everyone seems enthusiastic and happy to be there. The exhibits are wonderful. Definitely worth visiting again and again.

Lots of intriguing displays in a mixture of cool old Victorian rooms and modern spaces. A vivarium of rainforest amphibians and reptiles was an unexpected bonus, and very popular with families.
