Lake offering kayaking, wind-surfing and power-boating, plus adventure trail and woodland strolls.
Full marks great activities. The trail was amazing. We planned about 2 hours but spent nearly 4 hours. Staff were a credit to the place. Friendly helpful and lovely. And the food was amazing. Thank you!
Me and my daughter absolutely love it here. We like paddle boarding and there's plenty of other water sports you can try. However, what makes this place is the staff. The staff are amazing. The young lads that work here are always super friendly and so full of life. They're just fantastic. Thank you for making our visits always so pleasant.
A great experience had a SUP lesson with Joe, a very experienced instructor who could not have made it easier. Great teaching style and I got the hang of it quicker than I ever expected! I would like to pass thanks onto Joe. The mere itself is lovely and serene, the water is very clean (I went in once!) and has nice views. I really enjoyed it. It would be a 5* review if not for 2 small things: 1) limited changing / shower facilities and 2) car parks were full of families and kids playing & kicking footballs around which is not ideal with so many cars & people in close proximity. Didn't seem to be any restriction on games in the car parks which was a slight worry. All in all a great day thought and I will definitely be back!
We did the adventure trail here and loved it. We also found it at a good price point as you can spend as much time as you like there. There are great bridges to cross to test you. we chickened out on a few. It's great to do as a large group, and you can really egg each other on to do the more difficult crossings. You do get very muddy, and if you're up for a dunking very very wet. There are changing facilities at the end to get dry. We took our own picnic and drinks, so I can not comment on these.
It's been over 19yrs since I last came and today I wondered why I left it so long. I hired a double kayak for an hour at PS30. Easy to book online and turned up to confirm booking and was able to go get our bouany aids and get straight out there. It's PS2 for parking so make sure you've got the coins ready. There is a cafe, but we had brought a picnic that we had sat by the side watching the ducks and everyone out there. Toilets and changing areas are available and clean. There are other things to do like walking, activity trail, fishing, sup, windsurfing and sailing. They also advertise lessons.... so give it a go
Brilliant day out at Manley Mere, thank you to Kate & the team for helping us to put together a great experience for a large group of families. It was great fun from start to finish from the adventure trail through to the paddle boards on the lake & aqua blast. Highly recommend it, we'll definitely be back!
