Highlights of this vibrant, landscaped park include a lake, bowling greens, cafe and mini railway.
Brilliant park, so much to offer. Crazy golf, tennis courts, bowling green, children's play area, nice gardens, train ride, toilet facility and shop. Lots of benches around to sit. Great for dogs, nice stroll or run.
Love this Park, busy in the morning but chilled and relaxing in the evening. Our dog Marley (Shitzu) is in his element once he enters the gates, never troubled by other dogs, so it's all love from him.
Beautiful park for a stroll or run. The lake has many ducks and a white one too. Some places in the park could be muddy on a rainy day. There is a miniature railway going by the park. Not sure if anything runs on those rails. I saw many people walking with their dogs. Next to the park is Shepley St which is the start point of many hiking trails in this area.
I went on the classic car show day was very good.
Brilliant park with lots to offer. The park has free parking and plenty of places for a lovely walk. The playground has a lot to offer children of all ages and abilities. The park has a small lake with a lot of hungry ducks , a lovely quiet garden area to sit and relax. It also has tennis courts, basketball courts, crazy golf and bowling green. At weekends the cafe is open along with a miniature railway which we are yet to experience. Both the railway and cafe are cash only but seem cheap enough for everyone to enjoy. We will certainly be visiting again over the summer.
Gorgeous park with beautiful woodland scenery. The children's play area has plenty of apparatus for kids to use. There's also sports courts and a miniature railway. Also has an on site shop that sells toys and food. Plenty of free parking and toilets available.
