Amazing old Manor House dating from the 1540s with additions made in later centuries. The house can only be accessed by guided tour but it was worth it. The beautiful Italianate garden was laid out in the 1920s and is a must see. The house is currently occupied by Viscount and Viscountess Hinchingbrooke.

Beautiful garden with dozen of secret places to sit and watch the garden Both lovers of geometry and wildlife will find something to watch and admire. The coffee point is lovely. You can smell freshly ground coffee fat from the point :) There are some savoury snacks and food in the menu, but we took the lemon drizzle cake only (it was very good). Keep in mind that dogs are not allowed in the garden

My Mum suggested we go here as she has been a big fan of the YouTube channel for a while and I thought it would be interesting to go along. Well, what a fabulous day out it was. We had the weather on our side and the gardens looked spectacular. We had lunch at the cafe and thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches - you could tell they were well-sourced ingredients. We also picked up some stuff from the shop. We will be back - thank you!

A very interesting country house with a rich history. The tour is highly recommended, the guides were very knowledgeable and interesting and the tale they wove of connection to do many different aspects of history were delightful. The gardens are spectacular, not in size but in their design and in their upkeep. And for walkers there are long walks too. A surprise but a very welcome one!!

A small but fascinating country house, gardens and estate. Narrow road to the parking area. Large indoor cafe with outside tables, chairs and sun umberellas. Food and drinks of average quality with a limited choice. From ordering a sandwich to delivery took 35 minutes! The gardens are a delight and are on several levels with ponds in a hidden valley style setting. The house tour of an hour with two guides explaning its history and that of the families over the centuries is most interesting, although a tad too long. Overall well worth a visit though.

A wonderful visit, a guided tour of the Manor House, a walk in the garden and a delicious meal in the cafe / restaurant.
