A stunning beach on the Pembrokeshire coast, Marloes Sands is a picturesque haven of golden sand and pebbles, surrounded by towering cliffs and scenic coastal paths. The beach is nestled in a secluded cove, sheltered from the open sea by a rugged headland, creating a tranquil atmosphere perfect for relaxation. At low tide, the beach stretches out to reveal a vast expanse of sand, while at high tide, the sea laps gently at the shore. The surrounding cliffs are home to a variety of seabirds, adding to the natural beauty of this unspoiled gem.
A great place for a walk on the beach or along the coastal path. Runwayskiln cafe near the car park is worth a visit for coffee and cake if you need a pick me up!
Visited last year for the first time and it was absolutely stunning. Aided by brilliant weather no doubt, but a huge sandy beach, great waves to play in and loads to explore.
It's a bit of a trek to get to Marlow sands and we couldn't be bothered to walk to the sandy area. But after a long day of walking around Skomer island we just fancied somewhere to chill in the sun and have a dip! We found the little gravely area and it was quite rocky but we found a flatish area to pop the towels. The water was incredibly choppy but my boys went in and thoroughly enjoyed the sea. We didn't realise after parking in the national trust carpark that a field was just up from the carpark that offered parking all day for PS5 and was a bit closer to walk. It's about 1/2 -3/4 mile to get to the beach from the carpark and it is a bit up and down, so be prepared.
Incredible wide and wild and rugged beach with plenty of rocky outcrops and rock pools. Could easily spend hours here.
