Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park is the go-to attraction for an unforgettable family day out in Essex. With so much to do - including adventure golf, an awe-inspiring and educational dinosaur park, and farmyard animals - this is the ultimate place to visit. Children can learn and grow in the role-play village, let out their energy on giant bouncy pillows, and splash about in the sunshine on a purpose-built beach. But that's not all. Families can meet huge dinosaurs and enjoy state-of-the-art interactive games in a totally unique experience - included with the standard ticket price. Visit Marsh Farm's award-winning events this year, like Toddler Fest, Bubble 'n' Bop, the Halloween Festival, or the Father Christmas Experience.
Marsh Farm caters very well for a day out with your children with plenty to do for both boys and girls of suitable ages. The soft play section is brilliant, along with the outdoor climbing. Would have liked to see more animal variety, just to pad out the time a little more. The beach area is great, adults can easily prop up on the deck chairs watching their children play, which is a nice touch. This place has huge potential to grow even further and be THE main kids attraction in Essex. Food is a little expensive for what you get (to be expected) and the staff could be more engaging, especially the younger ones. Table service in the restaurant seemed a little chaotic and messy, but did eventually get cleared, (put an area in for customers to self clear?) wait times for peak lunch weren't terrible. However, It is nice that you can take your own food and drink and with the entry fees being a reasonable price, this can be a really solid and cost effective day out. We will happily return with my 6 yr olds and look forward to doing so.
Very nice farm, not too many animals (every farm has the same ones) but has lots of attractions, even our 16 months old baby enjoyed. Our favourite wad Dinosaur land! I really like the sand bit, and they have a beach with a paddling pool. Don't forget to take a towel. They also have beach chairs. You can spend it here all day. Food and ice cream are available, and there are lots of clean toilets.
It was a bit of a drive from my location but absolutely worth it. The food at the fish and chips was not very nice, but other than that, excellent experience. Definitely recommend for a family day out picnic and picnic blanket.
Had a great first time with our toddler today. He loved it, especially the dinosaurs and the train ride. The staff were friendly enough and the site was clean and well run. There was plenty to see and do. The animals seemed happy enough and well cared for. Only crititicism is the restaurant food. There are no vegetarian options on the children's menu, and although the portions were big, the quality was very poor, everything is cheap and swimming in oil. Would have been nice if the menu was a bit more up to date with some healthier options. All in all we will be back, most likely for the halloween event, however next time with our own picnic!
There is so much to do here, we went for a Taylor Swift tribute as well as entry to all the other amenities the park offers. All the rides are included, plenty of stuff to do, we stay for 4-5hrs and still could have done more. The beach is great and definitely recommends taking a spare set of clothes and swimsuit weather permitting.
We went yesterday (26th July) and overall we were really impressed, especially after reading a few mixed reviews. I was worried about it not being value for money, especially paying for a family of 5 but this wasn't the case. We arrived at opening and stayed until close as there was so much to do. The kids loved the inflatables (especially the slide), both playgrounds, the maze, seeing the animals, the soft play, the dinosaur walkthrough, the small rides, the sand art, the conga, building blocks, the jumping pillows, the mini disco, the little train ride and the ultimate highlights were the beach with splash zone and the foam party. The mini golf was closed but we knew that as it said on the website and I'm not even sure how we would have managed to fit that in with everything else. The only downsides I found were that the older playground is a bit run down and for some reason everything has been installed too far above ground so a 2 year old coming off the slide will have a drop before landing on the floor. The maze is also in need of some attention. Also you expect food to be a bit more at these places but I just think PS2.40 for a can of drink is a bit much. Definitely will return and if we lived closer would probably get a summer pass.
