We visited the museum yesterday with our young children. The kids particularly loved the train ride and playing with the train set. We all learnt so much in the museum and found all the staff very engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. A little gem of a museum and would recommend anyone to visit and learn about the interesting local history of the old train line. We'll be back too!
A wonderfully quaint museum with an exceptionally knowledgeable team. A high thanks to Alistair for spending time with us explaining everything about the railway and how it came to be. Definitely don't miss this if your in the area and amazingly it's Free of charge but please do support their work and help keep this little gem open.
