A picturesque beach with soft, golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise water, surrounded by rugged cliffs and lush green hills. The beach is sheltered in a secluded cove, making it a tranquil and intimate spot for relaxation. At low tide, the beach reveals a vast expanse of sand, perfect for sunbathing, building sandcastles, and playing beach games. The nearby village offers amenities and activities, including water sports, hiking trails, and scenic coastal walks.
Huge, amazing beach when the tide is out. Various food options just across the road, pizza, BBQ, pasties, pub grub etc. Car parks by the beach were all full but took a right turn, past the mini golf, and you could park in a field all day for PS5!
Lovely beach, waves are crazy as it's straight off the Atlantic. Dog friendly. Stream coming down the middle of the beach where quite a few of the kids were playing. Parking if you come just after lunch can be a nightmare, but most places were charging PS5 for the whole day. One of the car parks had a "full" sign but we're letting one in one out so a 2 minute wait and we were parked. Coffee shop, pub, pizza place and a surf shop are opposite the beach.
Was a great beach for the family, lots of shallow areas and the beach was clean. Only things that would make it better for families is better/more toilet options as there's only one. Overall very happy and our dog was very happy
Great beach. Can get quite busy at peak times. Plenty for kids to explore, Dog friendly too. Good cafes nearby. Carpark and toilets directly across from main entrance to beach
Lovely beach with goid amenities close by. Parking can be an issue if your late getting there or no problem later in the day
Love this place, good choice of food outlets near by. Perfect family beach, secure with lifeguards doing an amazing job. Predictable rip most of the time with good balance of waves to ride. Parkings a little limited in the height of the season but overflow in walking distance. 5
