Spread over 15 acres of beautiful countryside, Mayfield Animal Park is home to a diverse range of animals from around the world, including goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and many species of birds. The park offers a unique and interactive experience, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with the animals, feeding and petting them in a safe and controlled environment. The park also features a play area for children, a picnic zone, and a café serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.
This is an amazing place! The guide, Kat, is so nice and knowledgeable. There are many outdoor and indoor animals as well! Even Andy from the coffee shop is a very good man. He dropped us in his car to the nearest bus stop when our cabs were getting cancelled.
Whilst we were on holiday, we stopped off at the cafe as we were out for a walk. We had some very tasty toasted sandwiches, sandwiches and hot drinks. Unfortunately as we were short on time we couldn't visit animals but could see the fields/paddocks in the distance. Looked very impressive and extremely well run. Will definitely going back in a few months.
It's a weekend holiday place with wide variety of animals like alpaca, lama, ponies, pigs and so on. Tickets were sold in the cafeteria which could include 15-20 people. They provide refreshments, snacks and some sort of beverages at affordable price. We could walk along the park through the path provided and feed the alpaca. Food for them are sold in the cafeteria. The creatures caged inside are really awesome and I liked the walkway. Public transport are nearby. Wish you have a nice experience over there
Amazing alpaca experience. Our guide (Peter) was very knowledgable and we learnt a lot about all of the animals. Loved having a hands on experience with the animals, our little girl was over the moon with everything and has asked to come back. Shame we live so far away! What a little gem with a spectacular view!
We went in half term to the halloween event and really enjoyed the day out. There was the added bonus of seeing and holding some reptiles and insects and seeing Brutus the armadillo up close. He is very cute.
Absolutely fantastic place! The animals are all so lovely and well taken care of. The staff are all great and fun to chat with, and they all have a wealth of knowledge about the animals at the site. The cafe serves great food and drinks at a respectable price and has plenty of seating. It was a great experience and a place you wouldn't expect to be soo close! Highly recommend for families and fun get togethers with friends
