Meadow Park is a scenic open space in Edinburgh, Scotland, featuring a large grassy area, walking paths, and a picturesque pond surrounded by mature trees. The park offers a peaceful escape from the city, with plenty of benches and seating areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's a popular spot for picnics, dog walking, and outdoor recreation.
A hidden gem.Very quite and peaceful. On the flight path for East Midlands Airport but the planes became more fascinating than annoying. Lovely dog walk and exercise field for the dogs which our two dogs loved, especially the secured exercise field where they could run freely off lead, next to the alpacas in the next field. On the farm were alpacas, horses and plenty of wildlife to see and watch. Plenty of shops nearby within short walking distance or by car whichever you prefer. We were on a service grass touring pitch and spent thirteen nights. There were also service hard standing pitches if you preffered. Also available were chalets, very well kept and clean. Toilets and shower very clean, well presented...please be aware are unisex. Washer and dryer also available. Epson point and rubbish by reception as you enter...not far to walk. Qwners are lovely. Would definitely recommend this site and will definitely be returning...it certainly didn't feel we were only an hour from home. This site is wonderful.
The park has been essential for a lot of people during 2020, providing a great place to walk take photos and meet friends. This is a 5 minute walk from my front door.
The place should probably be re-named Jurassic Meadow. As we strolled the park, we were jumped by a Tyrannosaurus ChrisRex looking for a 3-human snack. . . . . We got away!
