This was not signposted so only found it on Google Maps while looking for somewhere else! It has a small area to park maybe 3 cars. There are some cycle racks beside the roadside. A very muddy path leads up to the boardwalk, so not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs. Very eerie going around there. Nothing to see at this time of year but a nice quiet area to break up the walk.
Peaceful little spot that has matured over the years and quite a lot of bird life around now.
Interesting boardwalk around mossy and fern area. Quite lovely to visit if passing. Not worth a specific trip.
Out on a dog walk from Meathop Fell caravan and motorhome site and came across thus little jet, we'll worth a walk around.
Flat, boardwalk looking out over natural bogs, views out to Lakeland hills, osprey nest too
