This was a great place to start the Tarka trail. Easy to find and plenty of free parking, most of which was shaded. I couldn't find the toilets and the entrance gates are locked at 5pm. Plenty of walking and cycling opportunities from here.
Enjoyed a peaceful stroll around this scenic, quiet Devon Wildlife Trust reserve. Lots of lakes and ponds to sit by and enjoy the views and wildlife. The walks are reasonably flat and they don't take long. Ideal place to stop and have a picnic.

A huge lake where you can sit and watch. A magnificent place for school trips and a picnic. "Free" entry but there is a donation box at the car park.
