A small family company, based in West Wales since 1912, our mill is famous for it's iconic Welsh doublecloth designs. Simple in spirit, satisfying in quality and timeless in design, our weaves are at home in every kind of interior with a choice of stock, custom and bespoke ranges. The skills and knowledge of our staff goes into making every piece special; and the mill can be seen working on weekdays, with the shop and cafe open to visitors seven days a week. The mill can be found between St Davids and Fishguard, off the A487, in a beautiful wooded valley, just a short walk from the lovely Pembrokeshire coastline.
I love this mill. This is a real gem nestling in a beautiful Welsh wooded valley leading to the sea. Really inspiring to see a thriving, working woollen mill where the weavers continue their craft handed down over 3 generations. You are welcome to observe the weavers at their craft and this was fascinating. The cafe served delicious cake and the shop served as an outlet for high quality Welsh artisanal wool products.
Such a gem, I love visiting for lunch. The quiche salad was lovely and the best selection of cakes you will ever find. The young staff in the cafe are superb too. A visit to the onsite shop is a must as well as a walk down to the beach. Well recommended.
Great fun and educational to see a working mill. Beautiful fabrics produced and sold. Well stocked gift shop with their products and many locally sourced gift and consumable items. Very hot tea.
Wonderful traditional wool mill with great restaurant!
What a lovely place. Great little cafe with enormous sandwiches and delicious cakes. The shop sells beautiful products made in the wool mill on site - you can watch the process in the mill, which is really interesting. Pretty walk down to two beaches - one small and pebbly, one bigger and sandy at low water. Spent a very pleasant afternoon on a slightly damp day. Highly recommend.
What a lovely surprise this place was. The Cafe was amazing (the best we visited whilst on holiday) and the shop and Mill were fab. So clean and tidy! Would deffo return for a visit when ever we back in west Wales. Absolute hidden gem.
