Mercers Park is a private park which opens to the public for walking and quiet recreation. There is a watersports activity centre in the park that operates on the lake and the park gates.
Visiting on the off chance and took a stroll around the lake . Looks lovely . Paths were a bit muddy and damp so I'd say good walking boots or wellies if it's been wet is a must as trainers won't cut it.
Nice place!! Here I did the paddle course and everything was really good! I recommend this lake absolutely. The water is clean and very calm. I had a good experience!
Wonderful site! Beautiful 40 minute walk around the lake, with a little cafe for an ice cream.
First time walking here and it was lovely. Good paths, dogs can be off leads and there's plenty of parking and a place to buy a snack and a drink
Lovely place to have a walk with your dog. Also, if you enjoy watching birds, take a pair of binoculars as there are lots of different water birds on both mercers lake and spynes lake. Friendly little cafe here too right on the lake. I had a great breakfast bap which only cost PS3.
Beautiful park path right round, just a shame there is not more viewing points of the lake as in summer greenery blocks veiws, but can't fault veiw from the cafe.
