Mesnes Park is a 19th-century country house and estate located in Bedfordshire, England. The estate features a stunning Victorian-era mansion surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, woodlands, and a large lake. Visitors can explore the opulent interior of the house, which boasts intricate plasterwork, ornate furnishings, and an impressive art collection. The gardens offer scenic walking trails, a tranquil atmosphere, and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside.
There is a fun fair, stalls, a group of drummers to entertain you, classic cars, military vehicles and food and drink stalls like chips, burgers, 12 inch hot dogs, hot chocolate, canned drinks and tea and coffee. There are Porto toilets, playground, punch and Judy, a picnic area, the park is dog-friendly.and lots more it was a pity about the weather, but it's England so take a brolly or hat and waterproof coat and a very big plus free parking.
I have walked through this park over 300 times since lockdown 2020 and watched all seasons. It is a beautiful place that we should be proud of locally. Sadly a few let us down (as us always the case) not clearing up after their dogs or themselves. That said, it is a wonderful amenity close by.
We love this park so much that we now have our own "spot". Its highlights include a gym area with several exercise equipment, two kids play areas, zip wire, trampoline, skate park, bug motel, free parking, tennis courts, lots of clean, green spaces and more. Definitely worth a visit and guaranteed not to be the last.
Very peaceful even though there are children playing every where, it's a lovely park for al the family. There are play areas for the kids and plenty of wandering through the woods and park for just about everyone. Definitely a park to visit
We attended this place today for the Newton show, it's a great place to visit especially if you have any children.
This place is always a hive of activity, it's a shame, however that the Rangers hut is regularly closed as it is the only toilet available on a substantially sized area. There are plenty of places to play ball games, areas to ride bikes, scooters and skateboards and playgrounds along with areas to walk dogs or take a stroll yourself. There are always lots of people about and the playground areas are well maintained. A little hot and cold drinks stand inside the rangers hut would make an absolute killing!
