Shop, eat & play at Metrocentre with over 250 stores, 60 places to eat and a range of leisure attractions to keep the whole family entertained.
Massive place and easy to get lost if not taking notice of the route you take. Plenty of great shops, restaurants and entertainment. Would need a couple of days to explore all of it. It has its own train station as well as a bus station. Very clean but full of kids just walking around when I visited after 5pm on a week day, they were not causing issues but obviously a place for them to meet due to all the entertainment and a cinema
Really nice place but lacks major european brands like carrefour and italian pastery shops , no turkish donner present . Simply its just a shopping centre like the other with brands like boots , zara , h&m , mcdonalds the brands you cam find at any city .
A great shopping and entertainment venue. Easy parking, lots of shops, an arcade, dodgems, bowling, cinema and good restaurants. Keeps the whole family occupied in a clean and enclosed centre.
I'm not a fan of these big shopping centres. The shops all seem to be the same with not many niche companies. It's warm in here too. Doesn't seem to do a lot over and beyond but, maybe that was just the early Saturday morning time we went.
I went to the Metrocentre for the first time in 5 years yesterday and felt so sad. So many empty shops, big stores like John Lewis, Debenhams, Top Shop all gone. I went to browse for holiday clothes and came away with nothing it honestly looks like it's close to shutting down for good. I gave it 3 stars out of loyalty only.
Had 2 hrs bowling on Friday 1st March and I won 6games and dave lost 6 games lol going back soon as enjoyed whooping his backside lol .
