Stayed for a work event in Jan so couldn't explore much of the surroundings, however the grounds and surroundings are beautiful. Food was really good too. It's tended by small team so things are a bit slow, which is understandable, yet the staff was really nice and helpful. I stayed in the Pembroke rooms, which reminded me of my student dorm days, unfortunately the heating was not working properly, the carpet was too worn out and overall room seems to be due for a renovation. I'd like to go again, this time with my family in the premium rooms or cottage!

My partner and I made a 2 hour trip to Middle Aston house for a wedding venue on the 11/02/2024. We arrived to find that the venue had been moved with absolutely no update to their website. The gates were locked and we were simply told over the intercom that it had been moved and the connection was disconnected with no care in the world. Having wasted our whole Sunday my partner and I were really not happy. Only positive the location was beautiful so the drive down was actually very pleasant.

A beautiful location with lots to explore on the grounds. Lots of the accommodation is spread out and does not feel cramped, with ample parking. Room itself was very nice, my only issues are that the heating did not appear to work, and the room was so far from the main house that I could not access the WiFi (for which, the password is usually on the back of the key fob). Food was delicious, bar was fairly priced too. Came for a business trip in Bicester, absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone who would ask.

A little apprehensive given some of the reviews before. But the place was great, the staff were outstanding and the food was dangerously good.|The place has had serious investment, and its worked.|Despite this it retains most of its old world charm|Thanks for a great weekend|And the expanded waistline

Beautiful surroundings and settings but the main hotel was so cold with no heating in the function room and bar area. We booked 2 nights but only stayed 1 as no chef available to cook breakfast on the second day. There are no rooms in the main hotel to book so our group were put in the annex which was awful with stained carpets and freezing bathrooms and very small rooms. It's a shame as this hotel could be 5 star but needs a lot of work and the 2 ladies working there seem to do everything. Unfortunately I would not recommend
