A picturesque seaside promenade with a gentle slope, lined with colorful beach huts, cafes, and restaurants, offering stunning views of the Solent Strait and the Isle of Wight.
Visited for the day with the dog, pebble beach which can get busy. Plenty of parking and a cafe at both ends of the promenade. Parking attendants active so make sure your ticket is valid for the full time.
Lovely walk along beach halfway to Hurst Castle. Spotted seal in sea. Mum and Dad used to take us there on holiday when we were little
We parked in the car park 5.00 for 4 hours, we walked to Hurst castle along the shingle bank and on the shore line. The weather wasn't perfect, but it was so beautiful and a great walk .
Very nice place for seaside walk. Nice places to eat and drink. Lots of car parking.
Lovely car park on the seafront with easy access to the beach. Cafe/bar nearby. Great views of the Isle of Wight.
A good amount of seating, plenty if places to get food and drink and lots of options to hire for relaxing or leisure. They had active life guards on duty. It's a very well managed beach. That said parking can be a bit tough to find because of this, and it could do with more police to deal with people hanging around, drinking and blocking parts of the footpath. This was only in one small area and is easily avoided.
