This beautiful 10-acre garden features a variety of plants and flowers, including roses, herbaceous borders, and a rock garden. Visitors can stroll along the winding paths, take in the tranquil atmosphere, and enjoy the scenic views. The garden also features a pond, a fountain, and several sculptures and statues.
If the boating pond was repaired by someone who actually knew what they were doing it would be ace to use. Shame its almost derelict. Rest of the meadows and mill race is lovel in the sun and if needed there is a pub in the Mill towards the end of the race section.
Went today with a very excited boat loving 4 year old to find it was empty and it a rubbish state. Very disappointed child and I was sad to see a once great place in not a nice condition. Come on Sudbury council. Get this sorted
This could have been a lovely pond, but on my first visit it was totally neglected and in a scummy state. Since then it appears that the council's care has got so bad that they have just drained it. A friend made a special journey to Sudbury to sail his boats, only to find it empty. If I lived locally I'd be campaigning about this.
Great for model boats. Lovely for paddling. We were heading there today but so sad that I've just read this memorial pond has proposals to close. What a shame
It's good for model boats
If you have a model boat this is the place.
Good for kids
