There is a very interesting exhibition about Gatehouse History and surrounding Area with a wonderful model of this lovely village. There are a stunning and very beautiful Arts and Crafts goods sold on the top floor, from the wonderful artist in the area and an awesome second hand book store! On the ground floor you'll find the lovely cafe and you xan sit inside or outside by the Fleet River. We love to visit here, when ever we're in the area.

Nice little mill, water wheels not working, nice little cafe, the is a museum part with a dirama of gatehouse in, the is a second hand book area upstairs and an arty bit there as well, there is a lift in the mill to access all floors. The mill is located next to the river. Car parking g is across the road near the spar shop.

A fleeting visit as we were in a hurry , museum and craft shop were the highlights , book shop felt like the ones in Wigtown , all volume no order and as we had already eaten elsewhere didnt go into the cafe
