Beautiful woodland walk around a stunning lake. Car park usually very quiet. No swimming in the lake
Delightful location - good for all ages - not wheelchair friendly - no disabled access beyond car park - good area for dog walking and small adventures - very muddy when wet with steep sides so take caution during wet weather. Fabulous walk - there are plaques with information on trees around if you find them. Good place for bird watching. A good 2 hours or more if you go right around so take plenty of water.
Great for autumn walks, the foliage is beautiful around the lake. Good for fishing and paddle boarding too. Benches are dotted around the walk, one side of the lake is flatter than the other. Two bridges connect either side so you can make it a short or long walk.
A wonderful little walk. The small car park's not too far from the main road and is completely free. There is a bridge about half way if you wanted a shorter walk, or you can do the full loch. It takes about 60-90 minutes for the whole walk. Highly recommend!
Lovely peaceful walk around the Loch. There is also a Coffee van parked up at the main car park serving barista coffee and cakes
Such a lovely place to walk around, a bit steep in places if you prefer flat ground. You can walk around the entire loch or do half as there is a little bridge. Very picturesque and peaceful.
