Beautiful location. Great for kids and dogs to run around in. Very peaceful.
Great for walking the dog. Fenced area so fairly secure. Plenty of sticks & smells to chase.
A popular place with dog walkers and families. This woodland area is quite small but well designed with different paths to follow. It can be wet underfoot sometimes. Also a good place for a chat, dog walkers often stop for a natter here while sitting on parts of the stone circle.
Ignore the postcode! A brilliant little spot where we were able to stop mid journey. We were traveling with our 10 year old, breastfed on demand 3 month old and dog. My wife was able to feed our baby while the eldest and I walked around and explored. The circle in the centre is the perfect clearing to sit and enjoy the woodland.
Millennium Woods is an excellent choice for a peaceful stroll. It offers shelter when windy and raining and in summer it is cool and shady. You will often meet dog walkers and families with young children. There are benches around the large grassy area in the centre. Limited parking at the disabled access gate.
