I must say this is a tranquil oasis in the heart of hackney. The site of large open areas and the greenery greets me in a tranquil manner. The vast and well kept grounds of the park has provided me a pleasant ambience. I got the opportunity to recently visit this place. I was masmerized with the beauty of the overall place. I hope this place will look more beautiful in summer and spring. Being a nature lover I really love this place. If you were living in Hackney, I will recommend you to go to this place.
A great place to have an afternoon picnic, walk your dog or do some outside exercise. The park is huge and more importantly clean, and have great workout tools for calesthenics workouts. It also has a nice playground for kids.

Grew up right next to it for 40 years. Have seen a lot of changes over the years. We have a plaque on one of the benches and was able to plant a tree in honour of our late mum.
