Very large open space , great for picnics and family fun! Beautiful lake to sit down and read!
Brilliant though slightly pricy little campsite option, allows campervans to stay overnight for PS15. Gates closed at 7pm open again around 8am. Be fairer if PS15 gave you 24 hours but it's still a good option. Lovely big park with great walks and facilities. Cafe overpriced though, there are better options close by.
What a great experience. The place is visually stunning, clearly a wedding favorite as there people milling around looking awesome. I played golf and the facilities were lovely. Lots of parking, friendly pro shop and a really nice course. I played the easier 18 and it was very forgiving. Flattering for the 20+ handicap, but I rather liked that!! Will try the grown up course next time. Lovely place & on a sunny day every angle is a postcard.
Beautiful open space and great for a day out at a very low cost
Came here on a Sunday and had a lovely time! The park was so clean and peaceful, and has so much for the whole family! Visited with some friends and their kids and they had the best time in the playground! Really dog friendly, saw so many dogs around! The cafe is dog friendly and they offer Pupappuccinos! Dog are to be kept on a lead at all times and there are bins around at short intervals for poops! Would love to come here again as we had a lovely day! They also offer bike hire but we didn't do that.
Nice local park to Cambridge with links into town. The park has walks, track and lakes. Good for hikes, bikes, dog walking, runners etc. I use it for open water swimming. Also the park has a cafe. Parking costs are reasonable. Only down side in my opinion is that trails could be better marked with signage.
