Outstanding. Amazing model village, so much attention to detail and little surprises if you really look! The quiz is great fun and my children lived it from start to finish (7-12 years). Would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
Amazing lookalike models of the actual village. You can tell they have put a lot of hours, dedication and creativity to build this. Was impressed to see miniature trees that looked exactly like the actual 8m long trees or more..wel done to the team who did this and making this a really fun activity/ place to go with a family. We didn't eat but there was an ice cream shop(summer time), some people had picnics and there were tables to sit and eat something. Some snacks were sold at the end of the tour too.. best part is parking was free across the road!
This little village is huge!! Very enjoyable walk around. Clever models, informative about Godshill itself. Great fun for all ages. Highly recommend a visit.
Went to Godshill model village, I've known about it for years but didn't think it would appeal, so glad we went, the model houses are set up with a little humour in mind, it was lovely to see models of place we had been, particularly loved the football game with the top less model, found it very 80's, so funny. Had a lovely sit down for a drink, really was a lovely couple of hours
It was my first time here and it was well worth the PS7.00 fee. It goes on and on and there is so much detail to look at. I hope the photos give you an idea. The train set had 3 different trains on it. There are little model red squirrels hidden everywhere and trust me its really hard to find them all. It was easy to go your own way do if parts were busy you could come back to them. There are toilets if you need them and a nice gift shop at the end. Easy way to spend an hour or two.
Absolutely brilliant thing to do while on the Isle of Wight. The model village is beautifully maintained, and reasonably priced for a family of 4. There is a working model railway, and most impressive of all a model Godshill within the model of Godshill within the model of Godshill! Fully accessible to all, and enjoyable for all ages. Not our first visit, and won't be our last.
