Home from an incredible family camping trip, in a standard pitch within "Ash". Exceptionally good cleaner within our toilet block, who worked tirelessly all day keeping showers and toilets clean. The park was brilliant, the pool was wonderful! The plants and flowers across the site were just beautiful. We didn't eat in the restaurant, or watch the entertainment because we were out and about exploring. However others said it was great. The arcade was really good fun. All staff very happy, helpful and friendly. Excellent base for adventuring around the Cornish coast! The only thing that was frustrating, was the level of noise after midnight on some nights. It would be helpful to have reminders on check in about noise. It was a busy site and full of young families. We really appreciated having access to the launderette and a little shop. Loved the golf too! We'd definitely return!

Liked: The experience was amazing. There is a lot of activities and facilities for all the family. The site is very well organised and clean. The toilet and shower are confortable and clean. The pool is warm and wonderful. My son love it and we wish come back for sure. I really recommend it. Disliked: Need to book slots to use the pool.

Liked: The entertainment was brilliant, with great acts, definitely entertained the kids. The pool was heated. Free soft play and a little sand area. The shop was well stocked and served nice coffee and pastries/pasties. Toilets and showers were very clean and not overly busy most of the time. Laundry services throughout. Pizza and chippy at the entertainment area, nice after a few drinks. Close to a lot of good attractions for families. You could also catch a bus to the beach nearby- we didnt use this service ourselves but good to know. Park and arcade there too. Disliked: A bit too loud too late on- not much can be done about other people's children I know but was difficult to fall asleep. Non swimmers not allowed in deep end which made it quite cold despite being heated when stuck in the small kids area of the pool- I appreciate why but frustrating nontheless. Booking fairly essential for the pool- meaning took a while to get everyone in so a loss of time spent in the pool. The entertainment was very loud when sat in the area, unable to hold any kind of conversation. We ended up leaving a little earlier as 10am was a bit too early for us to pack up our tent and belongings with 2 young children in tow. We were quite near a road with a lot of traffic and no footpath, a bit frustrating with small children.

Liked: The showers were always clean. Disliked: Not enough facilities for the size of the site, we were unable to get a table at any of the main areas between 6-8pm. We ended up eating our dinner outside in the rain with young children. It would be a good idea to have a booking systems for tables rather than the pool. The swimming pool booking system is ridiculous. It mentions online you are guaranteed two bookings per stay, however as soon as we arrived we tried to book in a slot and were told the next two days were fully booked, we were then made to wait in the boiling sunshine for 40 minutes with two restless children with no gurantee we would get in. Charged extra for a drink because the bar staff misheard - ordered a disaronno and coke, she poured a coke and charged me PS3, then I asked for the disaronno she charged another PS4 and would not allow me to keep the second poured and paid for drink. The pizza kiosk shut on the third day, told us to wait 30 minutes while they caught up with orders. We then got back in the queue and the staff shut the shutter in my face with no explanation of when/if they would reopen. Sewage leaking past our tent for two days. Staff on entry told us one of the cars were not added even though we had paid for this before arriving. Given wrong items in the shop - they were very good at asking if we had any allergies however after asking for a steak and ale pasty when we got back to our tent we found it was meat and potato.

Liked: Really super lovely park, very clean and well maintained. Very clean and hot showers in the main blocks Great entertainment for all the kids. Disliked: Really disappointed that at all the food outlets none of them had gluten free options so this was a shame as I couldn't eat. Also extremely sad and disappointed that the main reason we booked was for the pool, on the website it stated you would be guaranteed 2 pool sessions during your stay. Well let me tell you this is NOT true! We arrived Thursday morning and departure Sunday evening. As soon as we arrived we went to the pool to book a slot and work out the situation but was told they were fully booked ALL weekend and we would not be able to swim for the whole duration of our stay. Its safe to say the kids cried for a long time! My advice would be to phone and book your swimming well in advance and hope for the best. Also as it was very busy we couldnt get a table/seat at the covered take away are where bingo/kids club was held or inside the main entertainment room so couldnt enjoy the activities annoyingly. I think they were just overwhelmed by the number of visitors so i guess it wouldnt be like this out of season? Overall though the park was very nice though.

Liked: Great facilities on site, the location is fantastic as you are close to beautiful beaches and shops, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the evening entertainment was great. Overall it was excellent value for money for the actual trip. Disliked: The only real gripes we had were not major but, the evening entertainment aimed at the children was in an outside bar and the weather was quite cold. There are tables with heat lamps above but these are sparse and were taken up very early in the evening. The food and drink were slightly pricey and the prize bingo was an extra cost too. The WiFi was really poor and you had to pay extra for a decent level of WiFi - even that wasn't good.
