What a great ruin, well looked after and some good history at the site. There are some stunning views and it is only a few minutes easy walk from the car park. There is an EV charge point in the car park too. If you are late leaving past the opening times they do shut the gate but don't lock it. I have added the opening times on one of the photos as they are different to online. What a great place to visit for free.

Great little place to visit, castle ruins with some interesting information boards. Left me wanting more information about the place. Free parking up by the castle and free parking and a public toilet down in the car park in beautiful little town below.

Beautiful castle. Free car parking at the bottom of the castle so easy to get to. Beautiful views, dog friendly, good for kids etc. Took around 1 hour with taking our time. Local public toilets in the town hall, Spar shop local and fish and chip shop. Worth the visit if your local or passing, beautiful photo opportunities.

This is a small but well kept castle ruins. There is a small car park nearby or you can walk up from the village below. Three good information boards makes you want for more and some well kept paths going around. No toilets but a sweet shelter where you can eat your lunch or keep out of the rain for a bit.

Fantastic view thanks to the geographical advantage of castles! Large lawn to run and play. Not so crowded as the castles run by National Trust (but in return no facilities to be expected here, esp. toilets).

Steep climb up from the town ...or a short drive to a car park with electric car charger! brings you to a cluster of ruins difficult to mentally reconstruct but delightful in atmosphere. Almost alone when we went, we wandered happily from one amazing view to another, lovely. It would have been interesting to have a pic of the original stone construction on site ... but otherwise we'll worth a trip, and it's a free site managed by Cadw
