Our planning with Lorraine was perfect, nothing was too much trouble she was always on hand to help us with any questions and worked with one of our friends for some added surprises. The wedding day was beautiful, we had so many compliments from all of our guests, saying it's the best wedding they have ever been too. Everything is always spotless and so well put together. The food was gorgeous daytime and evening. Moor Hall is the perfect place for a wedding. If you're lucky to have your dream outside you have the most perfect gardens for your ceremony, photos and space for guests to mingle and for children to play. If you did have your ceremony inside, you have every faith the ceremony will still be as beautiful. We enjoyed the whole weekend as a family, checking in on the Sunday afternoon, enjoying the pool, steam room and sauna, using the bar 1905 and eating on the terrace and meeting with guests before the big day. In the morning the bridal party had the most perfect breakfast ordered to the room while we were getting ready. We were very lucky to have a hot tub room on the evening of our wedding so we were able to relax the following morning and take it all in. We had another delicious breakfast the morning after and enjoyed the grounds and lunchtime back at bar 1905. We would recommend arranging to spend as long as you can at moor hall and enjoy every moment we have so many amazing memories now that we will treasure forever. I stayed here for the Spa and Dine package with a friend. It was our first time staying here and we had a lovely nights stay. The main part of the hotel is beautifully decorated but the corridors and rooms are quite outdated which slightly lets it down. We both had a full body massage by Joanna who was brilliant, 10/10! We wasn't able to get our spa treatments at the same time so this meant we weren't actually able to relax and use the spa facilities together, especially as access was from 3pm. I feel if you're a paying guest and have a spa package that you should be able to access it earlier to make the most of your stay. Food was very tasty and well presented at dinner and breakfast. Overall we had a lovely stay but please update the rooms :)
Absolutely amazing place to stay, very accommodating for all your needs. The menus cater for all dietary requirements and the spa was very nice, the gardens are very well kept and the grounds keeper Carl was very informative about the woods and gardens he keeps very well presented, and even took the time to take the pics I've posted on the review. Visited for a spa day and had a lovely time, left feeling so relaxed. Set in beautiful grounds, the building is kept so lovely, all the staff we encountered was very helpful and friendly. With our package we got use of the leisure facility for five hours, our treatment (full body massage, which was amazing) along with hot drinks and pastries on arrival and afternoon tea to finish of the day.

Great stay. Room and spa facilities are great. Lovely grounds and restaurant and bar area. Only issue was with diner. Wrong food was brought out and i was made to feel it was my fault. However the issue was sorted and drinks were taken from the bill. We also ordered room service for lunch. Food was great and delivered to the room very quickly. However it'd be nice if they came back to collect the plates etc Would probably stay again.
