I honestly don't think this needs endless paragraphs to describe the experience, So I'll just bullet point my views. * Parking isn't cheap but where is cheap these days?! * Great day out for the family * Feeling at one with nature * Plenty of options when it comes to play areas for the children. * You can spend all day within the park as time fly's by before you know it. * Children can feel grown up for one day. First the children get their pictures took for their license. Then they test drive around in a circle before tackling the obstacle course in a mini Land Rover. It was brilliant. * The mini train was an awesome experience. Made me feel like a little kid again. I'm 33 by the way. * Go Ape is available but we didn't plan for that as it's half a days activity in my eyes. * Dogs are welcome but there isn't many bins knocking around so you will be carrying the dog poo for a while. * Toilets are situated at the start near the parking next to the cafe area. Make sure you go before you start your journey around the park. Otherwise you will be taking a trip into the trees/bushes. I probably could say more but again.. only YOU can truly have an opinion on what YOU think of the park. This is just what I think. However, I shall definitely be going again with the family.
This is how we ended the long weekend. A very active day spent in a place we all love. Boys completed 4 routes of high rope courses, then a walk in the forest in search of all the attractions on the map, a ride on a steam train and finally a picnic. The food disappeared very quickly, probably due to how many kilometers we did today Brilliant place for family day
I went to Go Ape and the whole experience was brilliant!! Definitely th staff will have more than 5 stars. The persons in the counter and the instructors were super friendly, knowledgeable, putting safety first and always willing to help. The activity it self was incredible, having different stages, amazing views and the zip wires were full of fun! Really recommend this place for kids and also for the adults who want to be kids again!!!
Really nice to go with family and dogs. However, as someone with a reactive dog I'm limited where I can take my dog. Unfortunately, the on lead rule doesn't seem to be enforced. I didn't take my dog for this reason on the first visit and low and behold a family were walking with a mini poodle who was running around off lead on the way back to the go ape. Even though an employee saw this and was walking behind them, it took us to ask them multiple times to put their dog on lead as people like them are the reason we can't take our dog. The employee was asked to enforce this rule but didn't seem too bothered unfortunately. Hopefully one day we can let our dog enjoy places like this too with all dogs on lead as per the rules.
Amazing place ! We had great fun - cycling, walking, playing, taking a ride on the train and having a lovely lunch. This place is a real rare gem! Thank you
A beautiful place. We spent the morning here on the way home from a weekend in Bournemouth. It is a wonderful place that is very well suited for families. The price in the cafe was on the higher side, but considering you don't pay an entry charge, we thought this was reasonable. There are plenty of places to sit and eat if you choose to bring your own food, this would help keep the cost down. The family trail was fun and we ended up at a large play park, much to the children's delight.
