My wife and I had the pleasure of walking Landy, Lusty, Henry, and Harry and had such a wonderful time. We also got to meet several of the sheep and lambs. Definitely was the highlight of our trip to England. But without a doubt, it would not have been as great as it was if it weren't for the personality and friendliness of the host Ben. He really made an effort to make our experience as memorable as possible. Not only that, he had some great suggestions on other places to visit and eat in the area. We really appreciated Ben's warmth and friendliness and hope others get a chance to enjoy walking with the Alpacas and meeting Ben. Thank you Ben, and all the best to you and your family!
Bought this for a friend's birthday as we wanted to do something 'out of the box' and what a treat it was!. We attended on bank holiday Saturday where we got picked up from the farriers by Ben. Very funny guy! loved his 'dad jokes'. Very knowledgeable of the area and made the whole experience very calming for something that can be quite nerve racking if you haven't tended to big animals before. Please tell Ben we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have already been recommending the morning out with him, the alpacas and the other animals we seen. Georgia & Leia :)
We booked the Mount Edgcumbe Alpaca Experience for my birthday. What a wonderful experience it was. Our host, Ben, was very friendly and welcoming and very engaging. We learned a lot about the pack of Alpacas Henry, Harry, Landy and Lusty. The walk was a lovely, therapeutic experience and the Alpacas were just pure Joy. Mount Edgcumbe is a perfect venue for the experience and you get to enjoy the park and take in the panouramic views of Plymouth, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Plymouth Sound. A very enjoyable and memorable day.
Honestly the most wholesome and joyful experience! This was a birthday treat for my husband (for me really!) and we both absolutely loved every moment. Ben, the Alpaca keeper and activity guide, has a truly personable nature and it is his educational and engaging input that makes the experience so memorable! Ben's obvious passion for his work and deep understanding of the individual characters of his animals is impressive, his prioritising of safety while keeping the activity interactive and informative is brilliant. The alpacas, together with Ben, are a true asset to the Mount Edgecumbe experiences. Thank you Ben, Lusty, Landy, Henry, and Harry for a wonderful day, we'll be back again I'm sure! x P.s. treat yourself at the farriers cafe after your experience - delicious and totally worth it!
An incredible and unique way to spend time at Mount Edgcumbe. Ben was the perfect and most welcoming host, super in-tune with all the wildlife in the park, and his good nature and expanse of knowledge made the entire experience completely unforgettable. Walking the alpacas itself was of course a highlight, and surprisingly relaxing too. You quickly start to notice and appreciate their quirks and characters, and there was a genuine enjoyment of their walk which really came across. Would 100% recommend to anyone, especially great for families.
My niece and I had a wonderful alpaca experience today. We got to feed the alpacas, then went on a long walk with Landy, Lusty, Henry and Harry - and of course Ben who led the experience. Ben was amazing, so much knowledge about the alpacas, but also all about Mount Edgcumbe - the flora, fauna and history. It was super interesting and we had an absolutely amazing time. Best alpaca experience ever! Also saw dolphins on the sound but I guess that can't be guaranteed every time .
