The Mourne Mountains are a granite mountain range located in County Down, Northern Ireland. The highest peak is Slieve Donard, which stands at 850 meters (2,789 ft) above sea level. The Mournes are also home to the Mourne Wall, a 35-kilometer-long (22 mi) dry stone wall that was built in the 18th century to enclose the Shamrock Estate. We had a fantastic time in the Mournes with Finn. The rivers are spectacular, the water is so fresh and definitely worth a swim in. It was great to see it so busy and people enjoying nature. It is one of our favourite spots.
