This tranquil haven is situated at the confluence of the Rivers Welland and Nene, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, and insects, making it a haven for nature lovers. Visitors can take leisurely walks along the riverbanks, enjoy picnics, or simply sit and watch the world go by. The haven also features a picturesque marina, where boats bob gently on the water, adding to the peaceful ambiance.
Very nice place to Visit very quite with lots of wild life to observe . There are Cows grazing the river banks just be careful if you have a Dog with you as they do have Calves sometimes and can be very protective . Plus mind where your walking or Riding your bike as many Cow pats and can be uneven after wet weather as the Cows leave quite large holes after sinking in the grass with their hooves. Take advise from the sign in my photos on how to keep safe. There's often no one anywhere nearby to shout to if you get into trouble. It's a wild place to go to. One of the very few you can visit in Lincolnshire . Best bit is it's free to access even the car park There are several car parks on the east side of the river
We parked the car at frampton RSPB.we walked thro nature reserve then on the embankment to the meeting of the two rivers to view hight tide in the wash.it wa a fabulous experience, sunny, very windy but beautiful.too lots of great photos. In all walked seven miles and was well worth it!
Nice view and a great walk for dog walkers and joggers too however, there is no seating and as its a long walk id advise only capable walkers take this route,
