A great family day out ... lovely walk around the nature reserve and lochs.. amazing scenery with lots of lovely view points especially on a dry sunny day! Friendly tea room with amazing cakes. Reasonably prices too. The animal farm was great for my toddler! Loved seeing the bunnies, chickens and donkeys. Great facilities including swings, trampolines and toys to play with. Would definitely recommend it for a cheap day out too .. PS2.50 for kids and free for adults!
Popped in for a coffee n cake....yum! Lovely. Later came back with family for lunch. Very quick service.. despite the poor girl being run off her feet. Lovely fresh sandwiches in a lovely location. There is an outdoor adventure type play area too. It was a great day. Thank you.
Lovely nature reserve and walks. However 1 star rating less as not dog friendly at all, not even in car park area. Please create an area where dog owners can give dogs comfort break. Many thanks
This place has it all for a great family day out. Great open space, animals to see, trampolines, sand pit and lovely cafe area with extra hand cleaning facilities. We had the best day and would highly recommend it for all ages x
What a lovely little cafe, we definitely finished our food. Lovely staff too
There is a really nice tea room here with good food, high quality high chairs and toys and books for children to play with while they're waiting for their order. The farm itself is nice enough but a lot of the pens were empty when I visited with no explanation. The playground is amazing though, with loads of things for children of all ages to do. We were planning to make this a quick lunch stop but ended up staying for much of the afternoon as well.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
