A secluded cove surrounded by towering cliffs, with a small sandy beach and calm turquoise waters, perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and a haven for wildlife such as seals and seabirds.
This is a great place to visit with free parking, walking the dogs is very popular here with plenty of bins. Coffee shop and snacks reduced menu due to covid and social distancing in place. Access to Mountwise and Scott Memorial here also. However the public toilets are now closed even when I counted over 35+ people were in the vicinity the toilets should be open in my opinion. Shame on you Plymouth City Council. There is also a childrens play ground.
Nice place to walk. Plenty of people fishing here. Little Park for the children. Nice place to just sit and watch the boats. Free parking but was only a few minutes walk from where we were staying.
Lovely place, great scenery and good for fishing. Plenty of benches to sit and relax and public toilets available during the day.
The figurehead standing at the covered dock is a replica from the ship Royal William. The original figurehead can be found in The Box in the city centre, along with other figureheads and other interesting exhibits.
