It's great to be able to watch such a beautiful view of huge metal toys there. I've never had so much fun watching the horrible sounds of aeroplanes 50 metres below. I suggest everybody go to myrtle avenue. Put your chair there and sit down. You'll absolutely love it.
Very nice place to go on a sunny day for plane spotting, but only problem is no parking available. Because everyone goes to see the landings hardly space to park. I had really good time had lots of fun specially after 3pm when all the flights path is over your head it's really cool.
This is a super cool place to watch airplanes landing at Heathrow- I've never seen airplanes so close before! It's unbelievably exhilarating and just fantastic. It's a bit hard to get to the little green viewing area as it us just across a really busy road so you have to walk down a but the other way to find a crossing if youre on the wrong side.... But its totally worth it. There is a lovely field with cute ponies in it and then just a sweet area for watching the planes. Always plenty of people here- planespotters, families with children etc but when I was there everyone was so friendly (I went by myself) and I felt really welcomed and had a good laugh with some people who were there, and we were chatting about all the planes coming in. This is a super underrated thing to do in london particularly if you are near heathrow and have some time to kill!!! Bring along some earplugs though because it is LOUD here!
