Huge country house with a host of architectural styles, lavish interiors and 26-acre walled garden.
Amazing park, very nice for a scenic stroll. Wild deer that are beautiful to see roaming, lovely views and a nice cafe on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend visiting
Lovely long walks, saw deer including an albino! Also had the good fortune to visit Lord Sackville's private garden which is only open a few select afternoons in the year. Didn't go in the house but we've been before and it makes a great educational day out.
My visit to Knole, a National Trust property, was fantastic. The estate is stunning, with free-roaming deer adding a magical touch. We loved hiking the trails and the views from the tower were breathtaking. Inside, the house's rich history and opulent rooms were captivating, with knowledgeable guides enhancing our experience. Knole is great for families; our kids enjoyed exploring the park and spotting deer. The cafe offered a pleasant break with good refreshments.
Went here as a family day out and everyone had a great time. There's something for everyone. Staff are friendly, the grounds are extremely well kept and although it has a lot of visitors it never feels crowded.
The grounds are stunning and the deer very used to being around people. We had a time slot to arrive between 10 & half 10 but the house and tower doesn't open till 11. We had a mixed reaction to my boys walking around the house. They were perfectly behaved but to be honest, the women appeared a bit on edge and watching them but the men were engaging and v.friendly towards them. The garden would have cost us an extra PS17.50 to visit so we didn't. I was a bit disappointed by our visit to be honest.
Strongly advise booking tickets if you aren't a member and want to park. Otherwise incredible grounds and the deer all seem really happy. Staff are very friendly and helpful, very nice coffee shop and clean facilities!
